Development Committee members are members of allied industries and others who have a vested interest in promoting the future of the U.S. wheat industry. Founded in July of 1985, five corporations – DuPont, Union Carbide, Rohm and Hass Seeds, Deere and Company and United Agriseed – were the first members of the Development Committee.
Today, the Development Committee is the inner circle of agribusiness partners and advisers to the Association and the Foundation. Members are voting members of the NAWG Foundation Board of Directors and participate in an exclusive meeting with the NAWG officers annually to share information and plan together. The Development Committee also assists the organization with special projects and provides a valuable sounding board.
Membership in the NAWG Foundation’s Development Committee is available to agribusiness, wheat-affiliated organizations and others involved in the wheat industry. For more information about membership, please contact Katrina Custer in the NAWG office at 202-547-7800 or at
