Jinger Eberspacher is the assistant to the NAWG Chief Executive Officer and NAWG’s office manager. Jinger also takes a leading role in management of the NAWG Foundation’s building on Capitol Hill, which houses the Association and other tenants.

Eberspacher brings to her position considerable experience in research, marketing, public relations and management.

A Nebraska native, she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in textiles, clothing and design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Ph.D. in clothing, textiles and marketing from Oklahoma State University.

For 10 years, Eberspacher was a professor and the founding director of the Leather Research Institute at Texas Tech University. There, she directed the Institute’s management, public relations, fundraising and industry outreach, undertaking a multidisciplinary approach to the enhancement of the domestic leather industry.

Prior to her time at Texas Tech, she worked for several major departments stores as an area manger and corporate director.

Eberspacher moved to the D.C. area in 1998 with her late husband, Jack, who was NAWG’s CEO from 1998 until 2001. She has two children in college and currently resides in Virginia.
