Mark Gaede is NAWG’s director of government affairs for environmental policy. As such, he leads NAWG’s efforts on the issue areas of conservation, water and air, endangered species, renewable fuels and other, related subjects.
Gaede brings substantial Congressional and Administration experience to his post. Prior to working for NAWG, he worked on the Hill for both Members and committees, in the Administration and at a state governor’s office. Gaede’s tenure with NAWG began in April 2002.
Gaede holds an undergraduate degree in history, with a minor in political science. He also earned a law degree from Lewis and Clark College.
