Melissa George Kessler is NAWG’s director of communications. As such, she works to facilitate communication between NAWG entities and between NAWG and the public and press.

Specifically, Kessler is responsible for wheatworld.org; the NAWG Report from Washington and Weekly Wheat Digest; periodic reports; and interactions with reporters. She also handles communications special projects, like trade show booths, and works with several communications-related coalitions.

Kessler has a variety of past communications experience, most notably newspaper reporting, and holds a political science degree from the University of Oklahoma. She and her husband live on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
