Molly O’ Connor
As a Government Relations Advisor at OFW Law, Molly O’Connor covers a variety of client interests specializing in agriculture, food and nutrition, international food aid, energy, and forestry areas. O’Connor provides legislative and strategic advice in public policy to clients. She works with industry, Congress, and government agencies to address policy, implementation of policy, and regulatory issues relevant to client interests. O’Connor is also following the 2015 Dietary Guideline process for developments in information, recommendations, and questions posed to the agriculture industry.
Before joining OFW Law, O’Connor was the Legislative Assistant at the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA). She facilitated as a liaison between NCGA’s Public Policy Action Team to industry partners and Congress, focusing on the Farm Bill and crop insurance issues as well as PAC management. Prior to NCGA, O’Connor accepted an International Trade internship with the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) to advocate for agriculture which brought her to Washington, DC. During her time at NPPC she was introduced to public policy and the impact US agriculture has globally.
